     Half of the images carry more of a negative meaning to them, because the plague is spreading
     throughout the islands killing them off slowly, but there is still hope for life to prosper.

     The Fantasy genre is reinforced through symbolism and technical codes, because the movie 
     begins a story being told and a short play playing in the screen. The movie is also cartoons and 
     the story being told deals with demigods

     The films establishes an enigma from the outset, because although there is gloom, there is still hope for the islands to prosper, because there will be a hero that will return the heart back to Taffiti. 
What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?
     It is made sure the the audience is captivated, b starting off with an interesting backstory to th
     movie, which will later on be useful in making sense of it. Also after we hear the rather somber
     story we realize that it is being told to a group of small children who are frightened by it.
How has technology been used effectively? You might want to consider camera angles, transitions and editing techniques.
     Technology has been used effectively throughout the introduction, because it is an animated     
     film. The usage of technology was used to create the whole film, from character movement to  
     the noises being made by them. The attention to detail also give the animated characters more 
     of a life like quality.
